You may choose to spend a day or two close to home; the village has a charming central square where you can sit with a glass of wine, and the countryside is ideal for gentle walks.

    The hills and vineyards of Chianti are a feast for the eyes. Discover some of the secrets of wine making on a tour of a renowned winery.     Discover this Tuscan gem on a walking tour. The production of fine jewellery made Arezzo rich; hear the history of the city and visit the Church of San Francesco, its relatively simple brick façade conceals a magnificent interior frescoed by Piero della Francesca. The Legend of the True Cross depicts the history of the cross used to crucify Christ in intricate detail, it is one of the greatest fresco cycles in Italy.

  • Pieve Di Cascia & Olive Oil Tasting - 2 to 7

    Journey to Umbria and discover the delightful town of Pieve di Cascia, which overlooks Lake Trasimeno and the Valdichiana Valley.     Visit the birthplace of the Renaissance, a veritable treasure-house of art and architecture. The huge terracotta dome of the cathedral was designed by Brunelleschi to dwarf the buildings of ancient Greece and Rome and it still dominates the skyline today. Take a stroll to the Piazzale Michelangelo and look out to the entire city spread along the banks of the Arno. Shop for jewellery on the famous Ponte Vecchio, join art lovers from around the world at the Uffizi, Bargello and Academia; and linger over coffee in Piazza della Signoria, the impressive city square.

  • Siena (optional) - 2 to 7

    History oozes from every nook and cranny of Siena where palaces, churches and towers dominate the skyline. 5 nights half board and 2 nights bed and breakfast so you are free to choose where you dine on two evenings. Your Tuscan base for seven nights is the friendly 3-star Hotel Italia. You’ll be made to feel very much at home in this family-run hotel, which offers comfortable guest rooms, a pleasant restaurant and a sun terrace and courtyard with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The hotel’s lounge and conservatory are great places to relax after dinner. All rooms have ensuite, satellite TV, telephone and safe.
