This afternoon, travel to El Djem's impressive heritage site for a visit to the imposing 3rd century Roman colosseum, originally seating 30,000 people, before continuing to Sfax on the Gulf of Gabes, a former stronghold of Barbary pirates and now Tunisia's second largest city, where you'll stay for one night. Red Lizard Train
The sedate Red Lizard Train travels through the Gorges of Selja in the Atlas Mountains of Tunisia. The train and track were built in 1910 so the Governor of Tunis could get to his summer palace.
